11/5/98
After an action-packed Rocktober, with shows at scene centers in both NYC
and Philly (ABC No Rio
and Stalag 13, respectively),
EOS looks out on an
entirely empty live schedule. How lame is that? We don't even have dates
for New Year's Eve, either. [* Actually, thanks to our pal JR from Viva Fidel, we'll be rocking Coney Island High on Pearl Harbor Day (12/7) at midnite -- see below for details]
Reflections on our Philly show (Halloween!): Interesting scene in Philly.
Big ups to our point man for all Philly operations, Grüdy Gritman, as well
as to Andrew "That's Funny, He Don't Look Italian" Martini for setting
up the show, and to Grandma Dynamite (no
explanation necessary), and to Ways Lounge. And HUGE ups to Adam
"Fistfight" (of STRONG INTENTION). Catharis was dangerously... cathartic,
as well, with the added drama of a green smoke bomb set off as they
started to play.
Our special-edition, customized, ultra-super 12" 45 vinyl is finally ready
for consumption, so check it out. You can order it from us for $6 + S&H,
$5 for seniors n' squatters. Couples: buy two for just $11!
