Band History We are Enemy of the Species. We all come from NYC except Dr. Pain who heils from Strong I. We started out as kind of a joke when my friend Ray Mazzola was putting a show together and needed an opener. He asked if I had a band and when I said no, he said, "The show's in 4 weeks. Put a band together." Humongous and I (Dewey) got some folks together, we threw about ten minutes of old-style stuff together and were set to play a show under the name ATROCITY. We didn't mind that ATROCITY had already been taken by a death metal band since we weren't planning on playing any more shows. Well, a year and later and we're still ROCKIN', but now we're edging towards metal and emo. We've recorded a demo but have been kind of slack about booking shows (that's why we're not playing ABC No Rio until October). Contact info is below, so if you put shows together, use it! Later. . .
